LIVESTRONG
at the Y

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a free, small-group program for adult cancer survivors, offered at our Kent County and Cranston YMCAs. Participants build strength, improve endurance, and connect with others in a safe, supportive environment — all under the guidance of instructors trained in cancer survivorship, exercise, and supportive care.

Parkinson’s Wellness Programs

We offer a variety of evidence-based programs for people living with Parkinson’s disease, including Rock Steady Boxing, Pedal for Parkinson’s, and Drum for Parkinson’s. Each class is designed to improve mobility, balance, strength, and quality of life while building community.

FES Cycling

Our Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) cycling program helps individuals with neurological and neuromuscular conditions maintain muscle health, improve circulation, and enhance mobility. Specialized bikes use gentle electrical pulses to stimulate muscles while you cycle.
